The Policy Dalbar invites any and all award recipients to publicize their accomplishments in both internal or external communication pieces as they see fit. However, when preparing any such communication, Dalbar offers the following policy to which it hopes participants will adhere.

• All public disclosure of your company’s ranking is to be qualified with the appropriate dates in which that ranking was earned. For example, recipients of our Mutual Fund Service Award for 2010 are welcome to state that they are “Ranked #1 for customer service by Dalbar, ”as long as that statement is qualified with “in 2010.”
• Similarly, recipients of our "Dalbar-Rated Financial Professional” seal are asked to qualify any public disclosure of that accomplishment with the year in which the Seal was earned.
• Under no circumstances is a company permitted to publicly disclose the rank or performance of any of its competitors or any other companies evaluated as part of a Dalbar measurement program.

Dalbar implemented this policy to help our clients in preparing statements regarding performance rankings to ensure that they are accurate and properly represent the particular research report being disclosed.
